Meet Stanley

We turned a player piano we found on Craigslist into a cultural phenomenon that connected with people from around the world. A first of his kind, Stanley was educated to play requested songs by artists performing at the Capitol Hill Block Party. Every tweet and crowd interaction was personal. Stanley is magic. He has feelings, makes friends, has favorite songs, knows about pop culture and hates Coldplay.

Introducing Stanley

People danced, laughed, battled and fell in love with Stanley at every event. He's received over 25 million PR impressions, more than a handful of international awards, a gig in New York, a couple thousand Twitter followers and press from around the world—from ABC News to the Communication Arts Interactive Annual. He's still taking requests in a permanent installation at Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco.
